Frequently Asked Questions

What an RMAP is, how Naboria differs from a retail media network, what's live today, and how to get started.

General

What is a Retail Marketing Activation Platform (RMAP)?

An RMAP unifies retail marketing across both halves of the funnel — offsite channels like Waze, Meta, WhatsApp, and Google, and onsite retail media placements on retailer storefronts — into a single platform with ML-driven budget optimization and closed-loop measurement.

The distinction that matters: conventional ad tools optimize each channel for its own metric, usually clicks or impressions. An RMAP optimizes every channel against one shared outcome — physical sell-through — and measures them on the same basis.

How is Naboria different from a retail media network?

Retail media networks (RMNs) such as Walmart Connect or Walgreens Advertising Group are onsite: sponsored placements on that retailer's own surfaces. Naboria is the platform that orchestrates across those networks and offsite channels, so brands can run the full funnel from one place.

We're complementary infrastructure rather than a competing RMN — with one exception: Naboria Ads functions as an onsite network for regional Puerto Rico retailers that have no in-house equivalent.

Which channels does Naboria activate today?

Live now — offsite: Waze Local (drive-to-store pins), Meta Advantage+ (Facebook and Instagram carousels), WhatsApp Business (opt-in messaging and promotions), and Google Ads.

Live now — onsite: Naboria Ads, our own engine serving sponsored placements for regional Puerto Rico retailers.

On the 2026 roadmap: Walmart Connect and Walgreens Advertising Group (WBA). Naboria's optimizer and measurement layer already model onsite placements as a first-class surface, so connecting these is integration work rather than re-architecture — but they are not live yet, and we'd rather say so here than on a call.

What is cross-funnel optimization?

Cross-funnel means treating offsite and onsite spend as one optimization problem instead of two. Naboria's budget allocator continuously rebalances dollars between upper-funnel awareness and lower-funnel conversion against a single outcome — so the upper funnel feeds the lower funnel rather than competing with it for the same budget.

Mechanically: Hill-curve response models per channel and geography, with SLSQP-constrained allocation, refreshed daily.

How do you prove a campaign actually worked?

Geo-lift measurement. Naboria compares outcomes in activated areas against matched control areas using difference-in-differences, then runs permutation tests to check the result isn't an artifact of which regions happened to be selected.

That produces an estimate of incremental impact — sales that would not have happened otherwise — rather than last-click attribution, which tends to credit whichever channel a shopper touched most recently.

Is Naboria only for Puerto Rico?

For now, yes. The platform is purpose-built for the local distribution geography, bilingual consumer, and channel mix. As it matures we plan to extend across the Caribbean, following the same unified-activation model in each new market.

How do I get started?

If you have a business question, email us — you'll get a reply from the founder rather than a queue. If you want to evaluate the technology first, register for free to access platform documentation and architecture diagrams.

For Retailers

Do I need to share my POS data?

No. Naboria activates campaigns from the brand or distributor brief; your sales data stays with you. If you later choose to share aggregated sell-through so closed-loop measurement can run against your locations, that's optional and on your terms.

What does it cost me?

Nothing. Activations are funded by the distributors and brands whose products you carry. Retailers benefit from incremental traffic and category growth without spending on media.

How do I get started as a retailer?

Get in touch and confirm your store locations. Naboria begins activating when distributors fund campaigns for products on your shelves, and our team handles onboarding.

For Brands & Distributors

What's the minimum budget?

Naboria works with activation budgets of varying sizes — from a single-SKU test in one retailer to a full-island campaign — because allocation happens at the store level either way. Practically, the smaller the budget, the fewer locations it should be spread across. Tell us your situation and we'll be straight about whether it's a fit.

Which retailers are in the network?

Coverage spans Puerto Rico retail chains and is expanding. Rather than publish a list that goes stale, contact us with your target accounts and we'll confirm exactly what coverage exists for them today.

How is this different from running Meta ads ourselves?

Meta is one channel. Naboria orchestrates Meta alongside Waze, WhatsApp, Google, and onsite placements from a single platform — with budget allocation across channels and geographies, plus geo-lift measurement that establishes incremental impact.

To replicate it manually you'd need four consoles, four reporting exports, a way to reconcile them, and a separate incrementality study. The point isn't that Meta is bad; it's that no single channel's console can tell you whether that channel deserved the budget.

Can I see reporting before committing?

Yes. Register for free for platform documentation, architecture diagrams, and sample dashboards, or ask for a walkthrough of the closed-loop reporting that connects digital spend to physical sell-through.

Do you work in Spanish?

Yes — bilingual creative workflows are a core part of the platform, not an afterthought. Campaigns, creative, and reporting can run in Spanish or English, and this site is available in español.
